Ronny Angell’s career with Odyssey began in 1999 with the “Race for Free” program where he volunteered at the BEAST of the East. His goal at the time was simply to earn a free race not to own the company! Throughout the next several years Ronny became one of Odyssey’s most dedicated volunteers, an instructor at the prestigious Adventure Racing Academy, an instructor for Odyssey’s Leadership Training Program, course designer, and race director. Ronny also became a respected and successful adventure racer building an impressive race bio over the last 10 years.
As President of Odyssey, Ronny’s responsibilities will include course design, race logistics, sponsorship relations, and competitor relations. One of the most fulfilling aspects of Ronny’s duties will be instructing at the Academy and at Leadership Training events where he can share his passion of Adventure Racing by helping others get started in the sport he accredits to having changed his life.
