The ever-popular Swamp Stomp 30-Hour Adventure Race is back again in 2010!!! After a break in 2009, Swamp Stomp is BACK with all of the great challenges and beautiful terrain that made the race what it is!

The 2010 Swamp Stomp 30-HR will begin at 7 am Saturday February 13th. Teams will finish by 1pm on Sunday with the awards at 2 pm Sunday. The race will again use the “Modified Rogaine Format” which includes a mandatory route with optional points and cut off times so that all finishing teams can complete the course within the 30-hour time limit.
The Swamp Stomp course will traverse beautiful natural areas, remote swamps, and secretive properties not open to the public. The race will journey racers through some of the most beautiful and pristine ecosystems in West Central Florida.

Swamp Stomp teams should expect to spend 30 hours on the course. The disciplines will be equally challenging and each will comprise 1/3 of the time on the course (approximately 10 hours each). The “Modified Rogaine” format includes multiple Mandatory and Bonus Checkpoints. Teams must collect all Mandatory CPs while collecting as many Bonus CPs as time allows. We are planning the course so that ALL teams can collect all of the Mandatory Checkpoints within the 30-Hour Limit, and the top teams will be able acquire all of both Mandatory AND Bonus checkpoints; ALL teams should be able to collect all of the Mandatory Checkpoints. The challenge is collecting as many Bonus Points in shortest time. Strategy will be key!
Do not forget to come support On Point Foundation Athletes as they race around the USA for disabled service members.
