Quantico Marine Corps Base – Quantico, VA
The 12 Hours of Cranky Monkey Mountain Bike Relay challenges solo racers and teams of 2 or 3 to complete as many 10-mile laps as possible in a 12 hour period, from 8am-8pm.
The absolutely stellar trail network on the Quantico Marine Corps Base is only open to civilian use on one occasion in 2010…and this is it! With wonderful support from the Marines, expansive transition areas, and great amenities, Quantico is the perfect venue to support a 12 hour mountain bike relay race.
This event has been wildly popular since the inaugural year and it will undoubtedly attract similar large numbers and talent in 2010.
