USARA National Qualifier: 6th running of the LIONHEART 24+ hour adventure race.

This race is transitional/unsupported & will be raced in a Rogaine format.

The race will start/finish & transition at Wilderness Voyageurs. This is our 3rd year using this race format & the feedback has been very positive. This format allows for many different strategies/route selections.

Solo’s, 2 person, 3 person & 4 person teams will race 85 to 90 miles across the beautiful & rugged Laurel Mountains of south western Pennsylvania.

40-50 miles of mountain biking on single track, quad trails, rail trails & back roads.
25-30 miles of trekking & orienteering
10 miles of kayaking on the Casselman and, or, the Middle Yough river
optional 140′ rappel (optional points)

“The winning 3 person coed or 4 person coed teams will qualify for the USARA National Championship in October &, the Checkpoint Tracker Series National Championship in November. The winning 3 or 4 person coed team will receive $400.00 toward their entry fee to the USARA Nationals from American Adventure Sports, as well as SolomonRegional Championship race jackets. The top five 3 or 4 person coed teams, also qualify for USARA Nationals”

ENTRY FEE:
solo – $185.00
2 pers – $350.00
3 pers – $525.00 (USARA National Qualifier)
4 pers – $700.00

*Awards given to the top 3 teams in each category.
*Must be 3 teams in a category to be competitive.

Athletes will receive technical wear, color topo maps, clue sheets & passports, quality boats, double bladed paddles & PFD’s.

*Athletes can use their own paddles & PFD’s but they are required to carry them to & from transition points.

Do not forget to come support On Point Foundation “ImONPoint.org” Athletes as they race around the USA for disabled service members.
